Teen shot to death in Roxbury; Man shot, but not fatally, in Mattapan

Boston Police report a shooting at 25 Whittier St. in Roxbury at 2:19 a.m. today; the victim, 18, was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center. Channel 4 reports he was shot several times.
About an hour later, police responded to Carney Hospital, where a man was treated for a gunshot wound he said he got while walking at Blue Hill Avenue and Morton Street.
The Police Didn't Hear Any Gun Shots?
There is a police station at the corner of Morton and Blue Hill Avenue...If the non fatal shooting really took place there, wouldn't the cops have heard it?
Also there is a night club (Kays Oasis) a few blocks away at the corner of Havelock Street and Blue Hill avenue that is ussually closing up around 2am on Saturday nights. All the occupants of the night club were problaby congregating outside the nightclub after it closed and an argument broke out and then a gun shot like what happened on New Years Day at 3:30am.
Kays Oasis should really not be in the middle of that residential neighborhood with no dedicated parking!
