joking aside, i'll give a hearty endorsement for michael's deli. their corned beef, in particular, is the stuff.
and if you want a real treat, ask him to prepare a thanksgiving turkey for you. yowza.

Doug is quite right, all snickering aside. Michael used to run a very popular deli/market in Marblehead, and it was a sad, sad day when he closed up shop about 10 years ago (probably longer). When he opened up in Brookline, you'd better believe I was one of the first in line for a corned beef fix. I'll also vouch for his roast turkey and chicken (not sure he still offers chickens), and he makes his own excellent cole slaw and potato salad. He's not the most charming guy you'll ever meet, but he sure does know his, uh, meat.
