If you brought it along on a hike to carry your bags, it would sound like you're hiking on a forest of lumberjacks.
Did you notice it was financed by DARPA - US taxpayers - for Department of Defense (military) research?
We might spend some of those billions upon billions on research to provide low-carbon emission, energy independence.
DARPA is the reason why

Further it's the reason why us libruls have such a valuable tool at our disposal to organize and push causes we believe in.
they're actually pretty good at what they do, and what they invest in, and we reap the benefits down line.
Now if your talking aero-space and cosy manufacturing contracts who charge billions for wing-nuts, I'm with you.

Well, I Was Thinking...
... of the possible uses for this technology in enabling those with serious handicaps to be mobile. The paralyzed, those with missing limbs, etc., could benefit greatly down the line.
