Is it an apology if you promptly accuse the other person of trying to shake you down?

Curlergate is over, more or less; curling-iron-throwing governor's councilor writes out apology, then promptly accuses person she threw the curling iron at of trying to blackmail her.

As if I wasn't already blowing up over here about this stupid Manny trade...then this has to happen? Devaney needs to get what's coming to her eventually. I hope she does something stupid prior to April 2009...it's only a matter of time.
