Kevin Cullen would make a great blogger down in Ma's basement

By day, he's an amazing reporter, writing wonderful articles, but by night, he's busy complaining about Manny Ramirez and riffing on stuff he read in the Herald.

Kevin Cullen claims, in that second posted article that we "gave" Nomar to the Dodgers. Ummm...we gave him to the Cubbies. It was their decision to send him to L.A.

But, he made a nice phone call ...

This is the line I loved:

He's seen a lot, served his country in a time of war, for most of his career has ignored the demonization script that has been passed from one side of the aisle to the other, and stands a better chance of sorting out the immigration mess.

McCain's avoided the demonization script, except to accuse Obama of treason. And, to run adds accusing Obama of ignoring the troops on his overseas visit, having prepared another ad that would have accused Obama of politicizing the troops if he had visited.

And, what exactly makes Cullen think that McCain is going to sort out immigration? His sponsorship of compromise legislation? Or his campaign 180 that he would, as president, veto the bill if passed during his administration.

Of course, McCain did call a grieving widow of a major media figure. A courageous, honorable deed that, if you're a lazy member of the mainstream media, absolves McCain of any sins.

Liberal Media.
