The Globe reports the two, cousins, were sitting on their back porch on Bragdon Street around 7:40 p.m. Channel 4 reports a 17-year-old has been arrested (UPDATE: Released for lack of evidence). The Herald talks to neighbors.

The 25 Bragdon St. address has shown up several times in police records. On Sept. 19, 2006 and again on June 11, 2007, Shawne Earl Johnson was arrested on charges of assault and battery. On March 28, 2007, Barbie Johnson was arrested on charges she kicked and broke the doorframe of a Roslindale apartment (a Plymouth man was arrested in that incident for allegedly choking Johnson). News reports identified Yvonne Johnson as the grandmother of the injured teenager.
