Karen Wise reports from the front lines of Newton's ice-cream wars: Coney Island Ice Cream Cafe serves up decent Oreo and mint chocolate chip ice cream, but its vanilla is decidedly lacking:

That is very odd, I wonder what flavorless ice cream tastes like? Does it just just taste like forzen cream?
Speaking of Cold Stone, mentioned in the blog, you would expect a flavor called cake batter to taste a little better, but alas its quite aweful.
maybe their vanilla
is really just sweet cream flavored? that has no flavor at all.
Sweet cream
Sweet cream ice cream really isn't bad, but it's certainly not vanilla. Maybe someone just forgot to add the vanilla in that batch?
