On his off months, Santa likes nothing more than stripping down to his loincloth and sandals and taking the scooter out for a spin around his favorite town:
Scott Wachtler of the Bulletin Newspapers took the photo on Lee Street near Rte. 9.

He's in Newton too!
Ack! We saw him heading west on Comm. Ave. near Walnut St. a week or so ago. The kids haven't stopped laughing since.
He's Just Commuting
Doesn't he work at Lush in the Natick Excretion?
I hope, for his sake, he never lays that bike down. The guy is an advertisement for potential road rash!
Motivation is key
There is probably no scooter rider in the Commonwealth more cautious than this guy.
Some columnist for the
Some columnist for the Improper Bostonian mentioned that his wife ran into a Santa while walking their dog recently. (I'd link to it, but the Improper has yet to learn about the Interwebs.)
Well, I've seen it.
And I can't unsee it.
Lord have mercy.
an old white Vespa
I used to see him riding an old white Vespa on Somerville Ave., he is magnificent! Just don't watch him kick start.
sexy santa
i used to see this guy over by boston colleg all of the time. i figured with the seminary across the street he must have been a priest.i feel really bad for his scooter seat.
Nothing Secret About that Santa
That photo got a legitimate LOL from me. There's a guy in Southie that I've been seeing for years that has a white fluffy beard, and he dresses like Santa in the winter and wishes people "Merry Christmas!" from outside his house (or at least I'm guessing that's where he lives.) Looks like he has competition...
unfortunately there's even MORE to see
as my fiancee and I were approaching the Bazaar Russian Market on Beacon St (not far from Summit Ave) we saw this man just finishing up putting his scooter in "park" to walk into said Russian Market.
Those shorts leave absolutely nothing to the imagination - and I mean NOTHING. Bits and pieces flippin' and floppin' ... it was NOT a welcome sight. No sirrrrrr.
