Stabbing at Mental Health Center near BUMC

State Police and an empty CT1 bus have E Newton St blocked off near the entrance to BMC. News crews on the scene mentioned a stabbing but there was no evidence outside to explain all of the commotion.
Update: Initial details from WCVB indicate that one person was stabbed in the neck at the Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center, 85 East Newton St. The mental health facility is not actually owned by Boston University Medical Center. The road is now opened to traffic again.
Coincidence?
Edge of Darkness (the Mel Gibson movie that was told it couldn't shoot on a Jewish woman's porch in Roslindale) has been filming the past few days on Albany St which is the corner with East Newton where the Health Center sits.
I was just sitting here thinking how evil it would be if this were somehow tied into the movie as a viral news leak sort of thing...
Arrest made
The Suffolk County DA's office reports that Kervin Dixon, 25, with no permanent address, is charged with slashing his 27-year-old girlfriend with a box cutter. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Boston Municipal Court on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
