New game: Where's Mumbles?

(Google Maps has a history of getting landmarks in Boston wrong. A year or two ago, they had Kendall Station about 2 blocks east of its real location.)

Appropriate

I think it's appropriate that it's pointing at the Dunkin' Donuts.

I never noticed City Hall had such a "bottomless pit" motif running through the center of it when viewed from above...that's also pretty appropriate.

Google Maps also thinks you can take a left turn from Somerville Ave onto Mass Ave in Porter Square.

How about a U turn?

A few weeks ago, Maps directed me outbound on Route 2 in Cambridge to keep right at Alewife and then make a U turn just past the intersection. Fun!

Try entering "City Hall, Boston" in the search box for Googlemaps.com.

They moved it about 4 miles south to Grove Hall in Roxbury.
