Re: test
Old and new look the same.
Can't a tester get some privacy?
Heh.
Yeah, it's the same exact ad. What I'm really doing is trying to figure out why the ad server software isn't registering clicks for certain accounts. Not a good thing when actual money is involved. I should've just built a test page somewherre, but it was so goshdarned easy to just do a UH post ...
probably...
...because some of the ads are so annoying, some of us have installed AdBlockPlus?
No, that's not why
The details are too boring for everybody but me and the sites it affects, but I was trying to diagnose a server software issue having nothing to do with ad blockers on your PC.
What I really need to do is finally break down and migrate the Boston Blogs Ad Network from the current setup (way past its sell-by date) to the OpenX server I've been slowly putting together. Hey you asked (sorta) :-).
I was trying to decide
if this was a noun or a verb. Was there something I was supposed to test? Did it relate to UHub or was there some personal test of that I had to pass to be allowed to keep reading or to ride the T or drive the 'Pike?
:)
Gah
I think it was more a test of my intelligence, and I think I failed. I didn't realize until just now the thing was on the home page, where it obviously shouldn't have been. Drrrr...
