ABOUT THE DAY OF ACTION:

On September 27, 2008, more than 3000 citizens from every neighborhood of Boston and key legislators will stand together on the Boston Common to share testimonials on the power of service in their lives and communities as part of the Boston ServiceNation Day of Action, only one of more than 3000 action events happening nationwide. After the testimonials, there will be a kick-off with live music, featuring Soul Movement, and an Opportunities Fair which will offer ways in which citizens can take action and give back through service and social initiatives. From the Hyatt, people will then disperse to participate in other smaller Day of Action service and action events happening throughout the city. Our call upon service cannot be heard without you - please join us on the Common!
