Anthony Giacalone reports the market has been "severely hurt." Triple deckers that once might have gone for as much as $650,000 are now on the market for as little as $380,000.
because people couldn't afford to buy them at $600,000, and they weren't (should not have been) worth that in the first place. Maybe now people can afford to buy one for $380, do some work & fix them, maybe have family live in one & rent the other, etc, without taking on a shady mortgage and deferring maintenance.
