A good location for Boston Police to set up a sobriety checkpoint

Dorchester and Melville avenues in Fields Corner. Boston Police report on two drunk-driving arrests there last night:

Shortly before 8 p.m., police say, a motorist who had just been involved in an accident there was directed to move her car by a firefighter - and promptly ran into the other car again. Officers who responded to the sounds of smashing metal did not give her a third chance.

Barely two hours later, police say, they responded to another accident there, again involving a suspected drunk:

Officers then asked the suspect to exit her car and asked her if she had been drinking to which the suspect exclaimed, "Hell yeah!"

Sober until proven drunk.

"Officers then attempted to administer Field Sobriety Tests to the suspect, but were unable to do so because the suspect was so unstable on her feet that she could not stand up."

She would have been too drunk to drive by even 1950s and 60s standards! Can she stand up? Can she walk? No? She's too drunk.
