...but with the Lynn I know that bumper sticker makes no sense! Check out DTL. Sure, the economic crisis and real estate slump has made the uphill battle a little steeper, but we battle on. Downtown is full of new residents and new energy and things are happening.

As someone who has is fond of Lynn and its Downtown (Gulu Gulu rocks) I agree with you a little, but its still a bit rough.
Maybe you can take it as a compliment, as in Lynn has moved up as Winthrop is going down to try to take its place for this century.
