Not the type of party crashers you like to see
Location
Boston Police report hitting the trifecta of out-of-control student soirees this past weekend:
Around 1 a.m. Saturday, Boston Police busted up the biggest, baddest (allegedly) party of the weekend, at 650 Columbus Ave., where officers say they encountered a couple hundred "young people" in various degrees of alcohol impairment:
Officers observed multiple beer cans and bottles of liquor (gin, vodka, rum, whiskey) scattered throughout the location. While officers were in the process of vacating the location, officers were able to detect the odor of what smelled like marijuana. A search of the location enabled officers to locate an individual smoking marijuana.
Two dudes were arrested.
Around 12:30 a.m., Sunday, Boston and Northeastern University police busted up a party at 24 Gainsborough St.:
On arrival, officers could hear loud music coming from the apartment in question. When officers knocked on the door, officers heard a loud voice instructing people inside to be quiet as they exited the premise. Officers then heard a large number of people running towards the backdoor.
Northeastern Police took names, vowing disciplinary action against all Northeastern students in attendance.
Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Boston and Northeastern University police went around the corner, to 24 Westland Ave., where they ruined another fine time. Again, names were inscribed.
Innocent, etc.

Not exactly...
A 1 AM on Sunday is "Saturday night." You're thinking of 1 AM on Monday (this morning)
Yep, you're right
I think it's been more than a year since I had an eye exam. In the meantime, I've fixed the post.
Party on NU
Those NU house parties are always so boring. It's more like a reality show on steroids. Stand around talking, drink booze, wear a flashy outfit to try and pick up women that are standing around, drinking booze, wearing flashy outfits. Boring!
That said, it sounds like Party #3 was the best.
It sounds like
Northeastern kids should be kept in cages.
Where are you from in Vermont? BHS kid myself.
I resent both of you.
NU BS'07
You don't know me
NU BSCS '03
That doesn't mean
I can't still resent you.
I don't know what that means
But I guess they don't teach you how to read and answer questions at NU.
Q&A
I didn't answer your question or reply to your post, wtf are you talking about?
I asked you where you hail
I asked you where you hail from in Vermont. You didn't answer me the first time I asked.
Where in VT
The country part. Didn't go to BHS, but isn't Vermont great?
I didn't ask because I don't really like talking about my personal stuff, despite friendly conversation on the matter. :)
This stuff all happened back when I was at NU
Cops didn't seem to care. College must be boring these days if there's no partying.
Yeah, yeah
This stuff all happened back when I was at Brandeis, and that was a long time ago (you kids today, you have no idea how easy you have it, why back in my day, we had to grow our own grains and distill them ourselves, but we LIKED IT).
The issue isn't so much the drinking habits of college students as it is the police doing what they can to help the taxpaying neighbors of those kids actually get a decent night's sleep.
