Boston Police report a couple of Parker Hill Avenue residents were startled out of their reveries shortly before 4 a.m. today by a man banging on their window:

When officers spoke to the suspect, the suspect stated that he had met someone on line who told him to go to the window and bang on it in order to gain entry. Suspect also stated that he had to remove the screen in order to bang on the window.

Duhamel Deon Cassagnol, 20, of Milton, was charged with breaking and entering a residence.

Over in JP, meanwhile, police charged Joshua Maya, 22, of Roslindale, with OUI after he allegedly backed into a police cruiser while attempting to pick up a couple of friends at 700 Centre St. Police were there chatting with those friends because "they were yelling and screaming for no reason" at 2 a.m.
