in Boston, the truth has a right wing radio bias
Michael Graham writes:
Everything you need to know about the so-called "Troopergate" story is in this excellent analysis from the always-reliable Jules Crittenden. Actually, what else does anyone need to know other than this fact from the Wall Street Journal's coverage:
the report also concluded that the Republican governor did not unlawfully fire her public-safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, who said he had been pressured to oust the trooper, Mike Wooten. The report said other factors were involved in Mr. Monegan's controversial dismissal.
So the charge that Gov. Palin wrongfully fired Monegan to settle a personal score has been shot down. Didn't happen. She didn't do anything wrong when she fired him. (I urge folks from DailyKos to read thost last three sentences slowly, for comprehension).

Here's what Newsweek has to say:
A new Alaska legislative report finding that Gov. Sarah Palin abused her power and violated state ethics laws spells new trouble for the McCain campaign. Special counsel Steve Branchflower's report could lead to fines or legislative action to censure Palin.
[snip]
Got that? "abused her power and violated state ethics laws"
It also directly challenges the vice presidential candidate's credibility on key points related to the "Troopergate" controversy. Palin has said she fired Walt Monegan, Alaska's public-safety commissioner, last summer solely because of budget disputes and "insubordination" by Monegan. But Branchflower found that a likely "contributing" factor was Palin's desire to fire state trooper Mike Wooten, her ex-brother-in-law. While Palin had the right to fire Monegan, Branchflower found that she allowed her husband and top aides to put "impermissible pressure" on subordinates to "advance a personal agenda." The report also questioned Palin's public contention that her family "feared" Wooten, noting that shortly after she took office she ordered a sizable reduction in her personal protection detail.

What we have here is a state Governor and VP hopeful who is abusing the power of her office to settle a personal score with her sister's ex-husband, Officer Wooten.
It's too bad Michael Graham put Jules Crittedon blinders on. I wonder what Graham meant by the phrase "Everything you need to know..."

Um, no
This is a witch hunt conducted by a biased Barack Obama supporter and nothing more.
Feel free to be on the side of the guy who tasered his kid.
8 Republicans
The Alaska Legislative Council that voted unanimously to release the findings which included 8 Republicans and 4 Democrats in the Alaskan State Legislature. Are you saying all twelve are "biased Barack Obama supporters"? If you are, you're wrong. They read Branchflower's report and found it convincing. It was their right to vote against having it released. They all voted to have it released. You should read it. http://download1.legis.state.ak.us/DOWNLOAD.pdf
The Alaskan legislature voted to investigate long before Palin was on the Republican Presidential ticket, well before Rove and Mccain chose Palin. So, no, it isn't a witch hunt but have you seen the video of Palin in church with the evangelist witchdoctor from Africa laying hands on her and casting out witches? Now that's a witch hunt.
About the kid being tased: LINK
Video here.

You don't need to post every last thing about Sarah Palin
You made your point about Michael Graham. No need to fill up the entire Comments list with posts about the Alaska legislature.
Um...
They (The 12 members of the council) voted to release the report to get it out in the open, with one of the council's members saying "I think there are some problems in this report. I would encourage people to be very cautious, to look at this with a jaundiced eye.”, but they did not issue a statement on its "findings".
Let's hope that Vera Barker gets even a fraction of the media play that Mikey Wooten has gotten. Ob Boston content: Perhaps Michael Graham can help.
Aside to Adam: Are you going to 'Stupid Crap' this site, too?
Dave believe what you want
The report says Palin "abused her power and violated state ethics laws," which is different than what you say and different than what Michael Graham says.
Five votes out of 12 would have kept the report confidential. There were 8 Republicans present. All eight voted to disclose the report.
Palin Spokeswoman, Alaska Lawmaker Face Off About ‘Troopergate’
How is that different from
How is that different from what I wrote, "Anonymous", if that is indeed your name?
I understand why Michael
I understand why Michael Graham and Dave at UHub have become Palin Abuse of Power Deniers, because Sarah Palin is flat out denying the findings of the report too.
I hear echoes of "I am not a crook".
Palin doesn't say the report is flawed, as Dave believes, or that it was an unfair hatchet job that reached the wrong conclusion, Palin says the report found no abuse of power. You got to see it, watch: video
My reply about the Alaskan
My reply about the Alaskan State Legislature is a response to Dave, who said "This is a witch hunt conducted by a biased Barack Obama supporter and nothing more." It wasn't the work of one guy, it was the work of 12 elected officials including 8 Republicans. They voted unanimously to release the report. This same group had voted unanimously to start the investigation and fund it back in July before Palin was a VP candidate. That is all.
Faux photo on Graham's site
Dan Kennedy reports on a made-up photo on Graham's site of Obama - and notes where the photo was really taken.
Obummer
At least he didn't show Obama hugging The Ferret.
STILL STINGING
Apparently, Michael Graham is still stinging from being called out by Dan Kennedy. Graham posted this today on "The Natural Truth", his blog.
Such clever satire.
Who do you put you're money one, Graham or Kennedy? I wonder if Graham would like nothing more than to pick a fight with the "liberal elite" as lizard brain wing nuts like to call educated people working in education.
