Things she never wishes to see again on the T

Marilora posts a list of nine things she's seen on the T she wishes she hadn't, including:

Hipster kids on the Blue Line. You think you look hot in your vintage 80's gear, don't you? Ok, kiddies, take it from me, a person who lived through the 80s. That stuff was not that attractive the first time around. If you are too young to remember when Madonna didn't have a fake British accent, you definitely should not be dressed like you are a back-up dancer from her Like a Virgin tour.

I couldn't think of a 10th thing

By Marilora | Tue, 09/06/2005 - 2:34pm

so I figured I'd be a rebel and go with 9. Kind of like how my "10 Things I love About East Boston" only goes to 4. I just haven't gotten around to write up the other 6. Blogging is hard.

Oh, I just thought of a 10th thing. One day last winter I saw a lady wearing the same winter coat I had senior year of high school--in 1992. That was kind of disturbing.

HEE!

It seems like people on the blue line either have uberstylish coats or hideous ones. I've noticed several of those patchworky shiny overly trimmed coats from the late '80s/early '90s. Eeeeew.
