Police: Out-of-control partiers attempt to beat up officers

Boston Police report that several people at a Jamaica Plain party did not go quietly into that good night when officers arrived at 944 Parker St. to shut their boisterous soiree down early Sunday:

On entering the apartment, officers were met by hostile partygoers who berated officers and were combative. While continuing to quell the disturbance and find the person in charge, officers were assaulted and struck by several people who were in the party, with some individual jumping on the backs of officers and striking them about the head and body. As officers continued to restore peace, they were bitten and kicked by partygoers resulting in the above individuals being placed under arrest.

Arrested: Maria C. Santiago-Cosme, 21, of Fall River, Carlos A. Cosme, 18, of Jamaica Plain, Jose D. Sanchez, 17, of Jamaica Plain, on a variety of charges.

Innocent, etc.

Just like the Lynn kids...

...deport 'em.

First take the damn Frenchies

Toss their poutine-slurping asses back over the border to Mon'real, the whole lot of them. Us good Americans from south of the border are sick of them hosing up our good country.

Right, Deport them

Get them out of the United States and them back to Puerto Rico!

Deport that travelling yahoo from the Republic of Alaska while we are at it!

And do you know something we don't?

Like that these kids aren't U.S. citizens?

LaTulippe? That French or something?

Irrelevant

Who cares if they're US citizens or not? Get 'em the fuck out of our community.

Yes, I am of French ancestry.

It's very relevant

You keep talking about deporting people with foreign-sounding last names. As long as we still have a (more or less) functioning Constitution, you can't deport American citizens. That's a good thing for people with names that depart from "Smith" and "Brown," no?

You can, however, bring them to trial and send them to jail if they're found guilty.

That's a nice thought

...but does it really work? Seems like Boston is full of repeat offenders.

I speak glibly and exaggerate when commenting on the entries, but the spirit of what I say is that Boston is not tough on crime.

OK

Fair enough argument to make, but maybe without resorting to the "deportation" issue, which has connotations that go beyond crime fighting.

What community would that be?

Neighborhood, city/town, local, regional, state, national, continental, hemispherical, global?

Can other communities send us their thugs as a thank you gift?
