The Herald reports Reese Hopkins, recently laid off by WRKO, was arrested last night in Malden, where he now lives. The paper quotes Hopkins and his girlfriend as saying the charge is part of a vendetta by a former friend of his daughter.
Scott Allen Miller, who used to work at 'RKO, wonders about the timing of Hopkins's arrest the week after he was let go - and posits that maybe, when Hopkins filed for unemployment benefits, he used his actual name, the one he consistently refused to divulge in public.
