Heated argument leads to arrest
Boston Police report they had to separate two feuding Dorchester roommates who couldn't agree on how to set the thermostat. One roommate was cold, so he turned the heat on, but the other roommate objected - to the point of ripping a wire out of the thermostat to disable it. When police arrived at 23 Howell St. on Thursday evening, the alleged wire ripper began yelling at them:
Specifically, the suspect, while flailing his arms, stated that his roommates were spies and the whole incident was a conspiracy against him.
Officers then gave him the opportunity to tell it to the judge, arresting him on charges of disturbing the peace and willful and malicious destruction of property.
Innocent, etc.

Well, maybe the suspect -was- set up...
...can't say for sure either way, since none of us were there. But the suspect's crazed behavior toward the officers certainly did not help his case.
