Somebody apparently mistook Matt O'Malley's city-council campaign headquarters on Washington Street for a drive-through early this morning.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. The driver and two passengers in the car escaped without a scratch and my campaign manager and I had left the office approximately two hours earlier.

I have always said that my campaign is about tearing down walls, but this isn't what I had in mind.

Thanks to everyone for their kind phone calls, thoughts, and e-mails. This has only stoked the fire in our belly and strengthened our resolve to win in November.
