Please make it stop!

I can't take it any more! I don't care about the Red Sox! Even if I did care, I don't need to see three threads in a row about them every day... Last night, "LOST" was bumped to 11:35 PM because of the game. That's what sports channels are for! Enough already.

For Christ's sake, YES! ENOUGH! I'm glad to know that there is at least someone else in this city that couldn't care less.

WTF?

That's what Tivo or Comcast DVR is for. Lost is stupid fiction. The RED SOX give life and a meaning to live to 10,000's of people in the New England area.

And then some

get over it

boo fricking hoo, your favorite show got bumped for one night. so the majority of the people around you are supposed to not watch THEIR favorite show because YOURS is on? give me a break.

far be it from you to want the TV not to show the red sox...but you're also offended that this site has threads about them? omg THREE THREADS THAT IS TOTALLY ENOUGH. get real. you're lucky it hasn't switched over to all sox, all the time.

people in boston love the sox. this site is about boston. as stated before, DEAL WITH IT.

Embrace it

In the cold winter months, this city is full of miserable grumps. (Me included). Embrace the fact that when the Sox are in the playoffs, there is a community spirit that rears its head. If you wear a Sox hat, people smile at you and pump their fist. Everyone, regardless of age or creed, shares the joy and pain of the Sox games.

Join in the fun. TV shows are for cold winter nights. Its pretty rare that crankpots on the street will smile at you.

Even Lost fans jumping in

My wife just loves "Lost." But she also really likes the community aspect of the Sox - you can just go up to anybody (well, almost anybody) right now and start up a conversation about "the game" and they'll know exactly what you're talking about.

If they don't shape up quickly ...

.. then it's all going to stop about 21 hours from now. I'd prefer it go on for at least a few more days.
