He wishes: Trader Goes Away

Brian checks out the new Trader Joe's in Burlington and once again remembers why he can't stand that chain:
... It's always depressing to hear people say "I love Trader Joe's!" because you just know these people never eat a decent home-cooked meal and have reached the point that pre-packaged sushi is a refreshing change from Lean Cuisine or Papa Gino's. Nuking a "rice bowl dinner" is not cooking. Heck, it barely qualifies as eating.

I agree with you here:
Unfortunately, however, Trader Joe's have sprung up all over the place as a consequence of the desire for fast-food cooking of prefabricated foods, because many Americans are constantly "on the go" and don't have time to sit down to a wholesome, nutricious, decently cooked meal. It's unfortunate, especially because Trader Joe's and other chains like that are somehow considered as a healthier alternative to McDonald's, Burger King, or any of those other fast food chains like that. unfortunately, NOT so. I always like to sit down to a decently-cooked healthy meal. it's better for you.
Ummm....you know Trader Joe's
Ummm....you know Trader Joe's sells things other than frozen food right? Organic raisins for $2.49 a pound...excellent cheese....organic milk and butter...all kinds of things that can then be used to make a healthy meal you make at home yourself. Except the bread. Their bread sucks.
