Police flush out Brighton suspect

Boston Police report arresting a Westford man on charges of damaging a water hydrant on Summit Avenue yesterday evening - and threatening a passerby who called police.

When officers arrived, officers observed the hydrant, as well as, three males who matched the description of the suspects. When officers questioned the suspects, the suspects admitted to taking the hydrant. According to the suspects, they found the hydrant lying in the middle of the sidewalk and they were simply moving it. While officers were on scene, one witness approached officers and pointed to the suspect who threatened him. When officers asked the suspect if he had threatened the witness, the suspect stated, "Yah, I threatened him! He told me he was gonna call the police.”

Joshua Kolinsky, 22, of Westford, come on down to District 14!

Innocent, etc.

What a shithead

How about a mandatory 10-year minimum sentence for witness intimidation?

Or...

...for just being a dummy. Possession of a hydrant. Is that a crime? Can I get one on Ebay?

How they could have gotten away with it
