Does it smell like pretention in here?
Yes, nothing is as pleasing as going into a coffee shopped crammed with unemployed wanna be writers on their overpriced Macs, typing away at that novel or some blog crying about the price of cheese at Roche brothers. How about you stay at home so you don't take up valuable table space with that venti latte you've been nursing for four hours. If you like Starbucks so much, get a job there - then you'll actually be making some money.
Hippie! Dirty Hippie!
No it smells like post-tension
Oh, sorry, I was just looking at the concrete being poured next block over while drinking coffee at my desk ...
Makes nice overshoes I hear.
Not the criteria I'd use
But she still came up with my fave at top of the list: the BPL reading room. I wrote most of my dissertation there.
Criteria for a good writing place: quiet, good indirect lighting, and far from distractions. Food and the internet are distractions (although not as bad as the many things that need to be done around the house).
Damn Dirty Hippies
lol, welcome to the internet and living in a city?
Enjoy DDs!
