Post your Election Day stories
Tuesday should be an interesting day. We've got three statewide ballot questions, a scattering of actual legislative races and, hmm, something else going on, all of which could mean record turnout at the polls.
I've set up Election Day Reports so folks can file and read reports from polling places - or anywhere else something interesting is happening on Tuesday (if you click now, you'll see three dummy reports, which I posted to test out the mapping system it uses). To encourage everybody to post, I'll take off the registration requirement for these reports. I'll also see if I can install and configure a system to let people easily upload photos.

This Must Be the New World!
I biked all the way into Boston with this on my mind (can't vouch for lyric accuracy, though):

Not yet working?
I tried the link to test posting a story, but got a response that I have to be logged-in or register. Yet I am already logged-in -- as the blue buttons at the top of UH in my browser window demonstrate (and the fact that I can post this comment).
Are posting election day reports currently disabled until Tuesday?
Wasn't turned on yet
I didn't think anybody would have anything to post until tomorrow :-). However, since you asked, it should work now:

Thanks AG! I Hope I can find the link tomorrow. Make it sticky somewhere until Thurs?
You bet!
I'll plaster a sticky link atop all pages. Will also place a running list of the most recent comments on the front page somewhere (similar to the "Recent comments" box on the right).
You betcha!
I don't know what other plans you have in store, but I'd love an easy way to have some links into the MA Question results and other local election metrics... anything you can do would be utilized by at least this guy!
I'm taking Wednesday off so I can enjoy the afterglow... but I'd love to keep an eye on uhub for my local concerns :D
Good luck and thanks in advance for your extra efforts!

And if not, well, wouldn't it be cool to make some MBTA maps like the PDX and CHI transit maps they have on there? I don't know if they're using the same tech for your crime map as they are with those maps? Interesting stuff!
