Dianne Wilkerson determined to drag things out

Won't quit her Senate job just yet to ensure "an orderly transition," she claims.

Meanwhile, Daniel Pokaski flees a reporter who wants to know what he thinks about a federal complaint that paints him as a less than flattering character in the Wilkerson affair.

Oh, and a mayoral flunky tells one blogger (and plaintiff) that the mayor has "no influence on the licensing board."

"an orderly

"an orderly transition,"

That's a euphemism for "get to January 2 so I can get another year of pension service and steal more taxpayer dollars" I haven't heard before.

As Victor Kiam said to Lisa Olson:

What a classic bitch. He has no problem running to the newspaper to shoot off his ignorant mouth about how bars should do business, but when a reporter calls him, he can't be bothered to talk.

Why doesn't this waste of life just do everybody a favor and quit? You poor baby. When life hands you a lemon, quit. When the going gets tough, quit. If you can't stand the heat, quit.

Biggest scam I know of

Pokaski has one of the biggest scam jobs I've heard of in government, and there are a lot of scam jobs.

It's a city job, yet appointed by the governor? Huh?

Board members get $85K for attending meetings three mornings a week. Pokaski gets an additional $15K because he's the chair.

And Wilkerson......just leave. What is the status of her pension if she gets convicted? I'm sure her biggest goal right now is to do anything to preserve her pension.
