Al now knows for a fact that his co-worker is awful, because she's upset "Grey's Anatomy" was replaced by the Patriots game last night.

Eh. I don't watch sports or Grey's Anatomy.
In other words, I don't really care that Grey's Anatomy was preempted. But not all people who don't follow sports are awful, just some of us.
Y'know...
I was actually pissed that football was on instead of Grey's last night because instead of just not running the show...They put it on at 1:00 AM. Had they just skipped it entirely, I wouldn't have cared, but I think that was a poor programming choice by ABC.
