Bad early morning smashup in Somerville

Rob Bellinger posts a photo of what looks like a really bad accident between Porter and Teele squares around 4:30 a.m. - and a photo of a ghost 89/93 MBTA bus running around the same time.

The mysterious early morning 89/93 run is actually on the printed and PDF versions of the 89 and 93 schedules. For some reason it's not on the interactive web version.
I think its primary purpose is to deliver MBTA workers to places where they need to be in order to unlock subway stations and otherwise prepare for regular service. But I don't know that for sure.
