T spokesman just can't bring himself to say Dan Grabauskas is staying on

So, is Dan Grabauskas really leaving the T in January? Amy Derjue, crack reporter/blogger over at Boston Magazine, exchanges e-mail with the T's Joe Pesaturo and asks him about the rumor. He sort of answers the question.

Im not familiar with the works of that particular blogger... maybe they are credible. If they are in fact credible then the answer that was given to this other blogger is that Danny is leaving the MBTA in January.
I dont think he is leaving, but I think it would have been much wiser of this spokesperson to use the stanard "To the best of my knowledge Mr.Grabauskas has no intentions of leaving the MBTA anytime in the near future." It saves the spokesperson any problems if it changes later, hey he said to the best of his knowledge right? It also lays down a pretty definitve NO without saying no.

Which is appropriate, since bloggers often treat Pesaturo with the level of respect he deserves.
