Residents furious the mayor now backs a plan to turn two vacant warehouses on Summer Street into offices instead of housing, the Herald reports, in a story that actually only quotes one resident, an "activist who declined to be identified," which kind of lessens the impact of the story.

Thank God for Menino!
The businesses in Fort Point are homeless! They clearly need more commercial office space right near South Station. Have you ever been there and looked around? There are no office buildings or commercial real estate within eye sight. Clearly this is a worthy move of Menino, a family man, a commoner, one of us, to help out those in need. What a guy! Four more years! He's a progressive leader of the 21st century. God bless Menino.
