A gross photo is worth a thousand ews

Did Jenny Frazier see what she thinks she saw on the other platform at the Downtown Crossing Red Line stop today? Some pictures would help you decide. Well, urine luck, she had her camera handy.

A year or two ago, I watched some guy on the platform in the Central T station go up to one of the turnstile grate things (?) at one end of the platform, and appear to drop trou and urinate against the wall or grate. Then he left.

I had pro camera gear with me, and considered preserving the moment, but it just didn't seem sporting like a phonecam would've.

At the time, I couldn't guess whether MBTA staff really wanted to know about this particular cleanup on aisle 1, and my phone had no reception anyway.

So explain to me again about how I'm going to ditch my car and use public transportation. I dare you. Then I'll tell you about Subway Sam.

Heh. That was an exceptional event, of course. At least, for the Central station.

But I'd rather advocate walking. And I'd rather wait til spring to do so. :)

A while back I was at Sullivan, waiting for an outbound train. I saw a guy on the opposite platform walk to the far northern end of that side and casually take a whiz off the edge. I believe he was somewhat intoxicated, but can't be sure. This was between 6-7 PM, and there was still plenty of daylight.
