The Alewife T station is always a joy in the rain

Dan Dunn loves it so:
... Returning this evening, I found that not only was the escalator to the roof out of order, but so was the the escalator the fourth floor. Flooding, I presume. So, I took the stairs. And had to slosh my way up the stairs, stepping through running water sluicing down each step.

That entire
That entire stairway/escalator area is bad news in the rain... I always just take the elevator if its raining, its the only sane way up.
The coming apocalypse
I've long thought that the Alewife station/garage will be the final refuge for the surviving humans after the apocalypse. And then that small band will be picked off one by one by a flock of mutant pigeons.
Classic future dystopian architecture
However, only people under the age of 30 will live at the Alewife station. Once you reach 30 a little gem implanted in your hand will glow red, and they'll pack you off and send you over to Rindge Tower.
With Cows!
I never understood the cows.
