Layoffs, cutbacks at WGBH

The Boston Business Journal reports WGBH will let 12 employees go and is making unspecified operations changes, due to declining corporate contributions.

GBH has been slowly laying
GBH has been slowly laying people off for months now -- I wonder why this is hitting the news now?

I hope they lay off the Celtic Women.
More seriously, I don't understand how GBH plans to stay afloat if they lose corporate funders AND potential future donors (ie, younger viewers) with the boomer-targeted programs they repeat endlessly during fundraising time.
