No Boston Folk Festival in 2009

Bad weather washed out ticket sales for this year's festival, leaving WUMB radio with a $12,000 loss. So there will be no festival next year.

This is very sad. I have volunteered at the Boston Folk Festival before and it's a great festival. I hope that they can find a way to continue it in some capacity.
