How much longer for Thai food in Roslindale?

The last few times I've been to Bangkok Cafe, there haven't been very many diners. Today, I went to order some chicken massaman curry for lunch. There was nobody in the dining room. When I went back 15 minutes or so later to pick it up, still no people. Unless they're doing a land-office catering business, that's not a real good sign. Oh, well.

Some people say the quality's gone downhill since it opened (see the last review); the limited number of dishes I tend to order (basically, chicken massaman curry and more chicken massaman curry) still taste good.

I never thought Bangkok Cafe was that great, even from the start. The decor is lackluster, and the rice servings are very small--which makes no sense given that rice is probably the cheapest ingredient they use. Roslindale has several restaurants that really stand out and that people will travel for (I'm thinking specifically of Delfino's, Sophia's, and Village Sushi), but Bangkok Cafe at best is "just another Thai restaurant."

Now that they have a beer and wine license, business is picking up. Weekend evenings I've seen good crowds there. Friends I've talked to have done take-out and enjoyed the meals. So on balance it looks like things are improving nicely for this restaurant. I would recommend it.
