Back in the day, oh, about 2 years ago, folks on the House side of the building were buzzing about how "refreshing" things were after the change from Finneran to DiMasi...more democracy, inclusion, whatnot, not to mention (for the good liberals) a more progressive stance on issues such as same-sex marriage.
He had a chance to forge a liberal/moderate coalition and to change the culture there a bit, nothing radical, but good. But now it's just the same old stuff. Disappointing but not shocking.
Why was there so much effort to suppress that data on Vitale? I don't trust him and I especially wouldn't trust Sal's buddy, Jay Cashman. He is that contractor who basically has his hand in everything. He was on Massport's Board of Director's till just after 9/11. Its' a bad way to start 2009...sigh..some things never change.
