Okay, what?

I can't figure out what that might mean, and Google isn't helping clarify things.

A couple of years ago, I saw a BMW in Cambridge with "OMG WTF" as the (MA) license plate. Is this supposed to be something along the same lines?

My all-time favorite was a Porsche I used to cycle past in Silicon Valley, at the height of the tech bubble. The plate read: GOPBLQ.

I always wondered how much he was able to sell it for when the bubble burst.

Seen on a classic "Amphicar" parked on Newbury St. in the late 1980s:

We were right in the middle of a "can that really be an amphicar"? conversation when that plate removed all doubt.

A family friend got away with MERDE for her VW Bug convertable for several years until somebody figured it out.

I once saw a mini with the license plate reading: Scusi driven by an old Italian couple... made me giggle.

Nothing will top the Michigan plate reading SLAMPIG that I saw once driving around Vermont.

...a VW Beetle, with the license plate (from California, where they can be that long): FEATURE. (My husband's fave.)
