This report doesn't have much info.

The recycling trucks are huge, and Tremont is a narrow one-way residential street along mostly long blocks. DPW's block also has a garage exiting onto Tremont. Perhaps the reporting party was being blocked by the truck from driving, or didn't like the noise from it idling? Perhaps the operator eventually told the RP to be thankful their butt wasn't an accepted commingle, or he'd run it through the truck? One can only speculate. I tend to suspect it was a non-event, but one that they had to follow up on just in case.

I can say, having worked with line-of-sight to DPW for many years, that the workers seem like agreeable guys. (And it's always felt positive to have their 5:30am presence around there, from a street crime safety perspective.)

Well, once, one afternoon, around the time that many DPW workers get off, two burly guys were having an argument on the street nearby. They started doing the stereotypical chest/belly pressed against each other and punctuating their points by stabbing the air with fingers, while they spoke their viewpoints loudly in each other's face. They didn't let it escalate beyond that, and neither was fully losing his cool. I'm not even sure they worked for DPW, and that was the worst I've seen around there.
