MBTA ridership sets record, but could be going down

Channel 5 reports on a record-setting year for the MBTA in 2008, but notes that ridership dipped in December, which T officials said was due to rising unemployment and dropping gas prices.

What's really causing the dip in ridership: They keep letting their passengers die. That eliminates repeat customers, and also makes the Charlie Card discount far less valuable.
