Brandeis installs barn door on Rose museum

The financially strapped school is now spending $20,000 for a crisis-communications PR firm to help it clean up the mess left over from the Rose Art museum crisis.

...as the linked article points out, the Brandeis prez and another senior administrator are taking a 10% pay cut in part to help offset those expenses. In addition, these days a $20k PR consulting contract is small change.
That said, when universities that already have their own public relations people on staff go outside for one of these crisis control guys, you know they screwed up bigtime and are just trying to staunch the bleeding.
