Interesting approach to panhandling - I wonder if it works?

He hates Jeh-HE-Sus

A couple days ago, 16WadeSt photographed a downtown panhandler with a different message.

Well we do have quite a few

Well we do have quite a few atheist's in our ranks, many are militant as well, the militant ones are the ones who may toss him a few dollars. It might be a nice niche market he has made for himself there. Heck he may also get a few bible thumpers who will stop and try to convince him that Jesus is the lord and he should love them, and of course the first thing you would do is toss a dollar in the cup to try to get him to listen to you.

Hell's Panhandler

Perhaps he's just trying to cut down on the number of Jack Chick tracts thrown his way in a given day.

I don't know,

I think it's kinda catchy.

good for him!

good for him!

Must be Jewish?

Must be Jewish?

For Heaven's sake

Don't let this other Jesus-sign guy near him!

I'll get to the bottom of this

I'll ask Jesús about this guy when he starts doing my lawn this Spring. Maybe he screwed up his hedges or something? He's usually pretty good about that stuff

Bums

I admit, that's an interesting sign. I've made it a point over the years to not give these guys anything. It seems we're running a gauntlet nowadays.
I think when I see a sign with any sort of religious message it kills any interest in what else could be said.
Lastly, a number of years ago in another city I saw a bum with a sign that simply said: "Why lie, I want beer." I did make a donation and thanked the man for his honesty.

I would actually like to see

I would actually like to see the "Jesus is Lord" guy next to him- the one from DOT who hands out "You're damned" pamphlets... (which might make Jesus unpopular for many)...
