blog post not as useful as it should have been
I just e-mailed this to the blogger:
Your post http://blog.cosmocatalano.com/post/79555538/whats-...
would be much more useful if you name the Cambridge bicycle shop where this happened to you.
I could not figure out how to leave a comment on your blog post, so I'm emailing you this instead.
Just to be safe...
...walk out of any Cambridge bicycle shop if you see hipsters? :)
The Shop in Question
It was Cambridge Bicycle, which surprised me, because they've been on top of compatibility issues like this before. I didn't want to give them the bad press just because of one screw-up.
More important to me was letting everyone know that just because a nut looks like it fits a thread doesn't mean it does. And, of course, blaming it on hipsters.
