Police say father didn't know best

Boston Police report arresting a South Boston man for OUI and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly plowed into two cars and his father showed up and told him to go home.

Police charge Michael E. Reddish, 21, hit a car at 4th and P streets around 2 this morning and that, when the motorist behind him tried to block him with his own car, he backed up and proceeded to hit another car:

The suspect's father told officers that he had sent his son, who had been driving his truck, home.
