Tinker Ready wonders if Caritas Christi hired Shephard Fairey to design its new ad campaign, which, as you can see above, features a Soviet-style raised fist holding a stethoscope - and which promises health care for the people, by the people and to the people, as opposed to the hegemonic plutocratic coverage at those oppressive teaching hospitals.

Hmm...I remember that Globe article where Caritas refused to say what medical services they would refuse to provide.

That is kinda weird -- it's the exact same raised fist image as Fairey's No on 8 poster. Was Caritas' graphic designer goofing on them (of course, the RC church in California campaigned in favor of Prop 8), or on Fairey's copyright puffery, or both?
