Shots in the night

A concerned Brighton resident wonders about the five gunshots that woke her and her boyfriend around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday in their apartment at the intersection of Comm. Ave. and Allston St. Anybody else hear them or know what happened?

I live nearby, and there are a lot of fireworks set off all the damn time. Anybody sure those were gunshots?

heard nothing. but, yes, fireworks are common late at night in this area. last summer there were fireworks going off just abotu every other night.
