Revere man charged with racist, threatening graffiti
A man already facing numerous gun charges was arraigned today on new charges that he spray-painted racist graffiti and a call to assassinate the president on a black man's house, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
John Sieckarski, 49, had his bail on the gun charges revoked following his arraignment in Chelsea District Court this morning, the DA's office says.
Sieckarski, arrested on 22 counts of illegal gun possession and improper gun storage in November, is charged with spray painting a former neighbor's house with a variety of anti-black slogans, including one advising him to die, and another declaring that Barack Obama should be "assinated" (sic).
The DA's office says it is considering civil-rights charges and that the Secret Service has been notified.
Innocent, etc.

Where do these idiots come
Where do these idiots come from? Other idiots, no doubt.
double stupid...
...Virulent racists who can't spell.
But seriously, some of the hateful reactions to Obama show us that we're hardly in a "post-racial" America, despite what some of the less insightful pundits have tried to claim. (The stuff that gets posted in public websites is alarming.)
We're not in a post-racial
We're not in a post-racial America, of course. People won't forget as long as poverty and crime are wildly disproportionate among some ethnic/racial groups.
But even when we are post-racial, random crazy people will still be muttering about blacks, about Irish, and about the lady at SuperCuts who works for the CIA and makes mind-control zombies with her hairdryer.
We're never going to be a post-racial America,
at least not in our lifetime.
If various national crises (i. e. the South Central LA riots and ethnic conflicts there, 9/11, etc.) are any indication, the United States' diversity is its strength, but also its weakness as well.
I'm sure he'll learn
what "assinated" really means in the can.
