What's Gareth Saunders' address for email or website?...

Either he's hoping to mobilize enough black voters and other voters from his old district to get past the primary, or he's a straw. I don't see him drawing very much outside of his base.

If he's a straw, cui bono?

Gareth Saunders who has been evicted from his last 2 apartments is trying to run for Mayor. How will he handle the cities budget if he can even handle his own.

Let's at least put our names behind our mud-slingings.

Mud-slingings lol. Its public housing court record neilv. Anyone can see it. So anyone could be writing this...

There's a question of who chooses to say it, and their intent, whether or not it's true.

The fact that the poster in this case chose to do so anonymously should tell you that they recognize that the act of saying that thing is significant in itself, separate from any truth of the statement.

UH sees a good amount (or perhaps it is better to say, a *bad* amount) of anon posting by political operatives, and we can't always tell for sure who is and who isn't, but we can do things to keep their typical behaviors in check. People can go to the Herald and Globe forums if they want that. :)

Good idea about the globe and herald. I will definitely check into that. By the way it is true. If you don't believe it you can go down to the housing court and see it for yourself. Its on public record. Whatever you or other people think about Gareth, he is irresponsible. The number one thing any of us should take care of first before any other bills or commitments/political agendas is rent. A person like that should not have anything to do with politics. We already have enough dishonorable people in politics.

...based on a "judge a person by his/her enemies" principle.

No Neilv you don't get it. Its integrity. Nothing to do with enemies. When someone is not a person of integrity why would you want to vote for them. Not that he has enough signatures to even run. Anyway this site doesn't have enough responses so I probably won't keep this conversation going. Good luck.

The Herald forums might show more respect and validation for anonymous political commentators than UH does.

But if you don't have good luck there, I know that the YouTube comments are always welcoming to all messages. And there's IMDB user reviews: so long as you mention the title of the film, what you write doesn't have to reflect any comprehension of it nor be relevant in any way. Then there's Digg, and with money to the right people, you can get an entire story featured.

If you get bored with all of those venues, and are thinking of trying UH again, I'll come up with some more.
